Logan Paul and Mike Majlak have responded to the SteveWillDoIt podcast controversy.

On December 4, Paul posted a video on his personal YouTube channel in which he addressed the commentary surrounding Steve’s appearance on the IMPAULSIVE podcast, which he hosts with Majlak. He said he did not get what netizens were trying to comment on about the situation. Majlak added:

“That's the easiest way for me to put it. It's just not a big deal. I explained it. We had to cut a lot of stuff from the episode. It destroyed the actual flow and the sanctity of the episode.”

For context, the podcast episode didn't go well. SteveWillDoIt was allegedly rude towards Paul, and he was also intoxicated, as claimed by Mike in an X post. The conversation ended much before the time.

Meanwhile, on the YouTube video, Logan Paul said:

“Isn't that so funny how we're protecting Steve and then the internet's like, ‘You guys are f**king *ssh*les.’”

Mike said there were many wrong ideas going around. He explained that people online were now saying that the team had given Steve the alcohol. But Mike said it was actually SteveWillDoIt’s own staff who brought it. Logan Paul added:

“I am at a loss for words. It's even hard for me to find. I'm going to try. You people are so f**king stupid. And for that reason, God bless you.”

Logan Paul said they received supportive comments from people following SteveWillDoIt’s podcast controversy

Logan Paul said that people told him that he handled the situation in a good way. Majlak agreed and said that people from the industry said that they took care of the situation perfectly. Mike said that, despite Paul’s request not to release the episode, he took the initiative to go ahead with the same.

Certain portions from the episode had to be removed. According to Mike Majlak:

“I thought if we removed it, we could still use it and it was like a cool conversation and showcase like the struggle and the back and forth and blah blah. I was wrong. Guys, I'm not perfect, okay? I'm not. None of us are okay. We make mistakes. I'll take this one. I'll own this one.”

After reading out a few comments and messages from people, Mike said:

“So, like the creative industry opinion is very different. But it's fine. It doesn't matter. I do love Steve. I've talked to him a bunch afterwards.”

Logan Paul said he still didn’t know what he did wrong. He explained that he just sat there while SteveWillDoIt, whom he called a "rude and intoxicated guest," spoke badly to him and everyone else in the room and watching. Logan said he only told Steve that he should calm down.
