Political commentator Candace Owens has stirred the internet since she came up with her Fort Huachuca story. The podcaster recently interviewed a person named Mitch Snow on her show who claimed to be ex-military. Based on his revelations, Candace Owens raised many doubts about Turning Point and the US military related to Charlie Kirk's death.

In the December 18 episode of Candace, Mitch claimed that he visited the Arizona military base, Fort Huachuca, in September this year with regard to his own work. However, he claimed that when he checked in at a hotel there, he saw Erika Kirk in the lobby in the evening of September 8. He further claimed that the next morning he witnessed Charlie Kirk's chief of security, Brian Harpole, at the base meeting with some military officials. He suspected a big operation.

These claims sparked a buzz online, with many blasting Owens. Earlier on December 26, Candace Owens shared a few screenshots from a chat that was shown on Paramount Tactical's YouTube stream. The YouTuber stated that Andrew Kolvet shared those messages. The text seemingly suggested that Erika Kirk was not in Tucson on the morning of September 9 and was with her kids.

Candace Owens challenged the alleged alibi and argued that Mitch told her that he allegedly saw Erika Kirk on the evening of September 8. She called out Andrew Kolvet for "being intentionally obtuse." She wondered why TPUSA's spokesperson did not reach out to her directly.

On December 27, the podcaster continued with her claims and blasted the critics of her source's credibility. In one of her tweets, she claimed that she even reached out to Brian Harpole before running the story.

"And I don’t know how many times I can state this but for good measure— I have ALWAYS been very open to the possibility that he simply misidentified Harpole. That’s the very reason I reached out to Harpole BEFORE we ran the story and we received no response," Owens posted.

Candace Owens hits out at Mitch Snow's critics

Since the story came out, many on the internet raised eyebrows at the past of Candace Owens' source. Several influencers came out and commented on Mitch Snow's alleged abusive behavior. In her aforementioned X post, Owens aimed at TPUSA and said:

"It is becoming increasingly suspicious that rather than simply responding to me they are asking YouTubers to speak to ex wives and children and friends about someone’s character when nobody is asking to marry this dude— we just want to know if he saw who he believes he saw. Every other piece of his story that morning has already been verified with military police reports, meta data, hotel confirmations, and videos. Again, this isn’t hard."

In a separate tweet, Owens remarked that the "initial disinformation campaign" was failing and therefore critics began attacking Mitch's past relationships. Despite her questions, the podcaster never denied the possibility of Mitch Snow spotting a lookalike.

The accusations came just days later after Candace Owens and Erika Kirk met privately. They even marked their long conversation productive. Amid new insinuations, TPUSA's CEO has yet to respond.
