Amid the ongoing legal battle involving Sean 'Diddy' Combs, rapper Young Thug has reportedly shown support for the former. Thug appeared on Adin Ross's Kick livestream on October 1. He reportedly made his first livestream appearance following his release from prison in November 2024. In a clip of the stream shared by X user @FearedBuck on his channel, Thug can be heard clarifying his stance on Diddy.
Ross appears to be making remarks about 'Cîroc vodka', an older partnership between Diddy and British Spirits company, Diageo. Young jumps into the conversation and can be heard saying,
"Stop saying Cîroc, cause you are making it about Diddy and this is not about Diddy, this is my OG."
He continues to address the viewers,
"I love Diddy. I’m not against him; I overly love him. Love OG, praying for your freedom every day.”
Young Thug shows love to Diddy amid ongoing legal battle
Young Thug reportedly appeared on Adin Ross' Kick livestream, his first time after his legal battle in the YSL trial. During a conversation about 'Cîroc vodka', Thug seemingly jumped to Diddy's defence and clarified that he is "praying for his return." Following Thug's sudden showcase of love for the Combs, Ross seemingly indicates Diddy's release,
"Yeah, he'll probably out in 2 days."
Ross asks Thug if he calls Diddy on his stream following his release, would he want to see him? He affirms,
"Absolutely!"
In another segment of the livestream, Ross and Young Thug talk about the latter's latest album, UV Scuti. Ross asks the reason Thug made himself white for the album cover. Thug responded,
"If you want to be the biggest, go white."
He explained that when he was thinking of the "biggest", people who are white came to his mind, including Michael Jackson. When Ross asks if he would ever want to turn himself "white", Thug noted that he has considered it.
Young Thug has reportedly clarified his stance on Diddy, while the latter's future remains unclear. In other news, the New York Times reported that a federal judge has denied Diddy's request to acquit him of "prostitution-related charges." The rapper is set to be sentenced on Friday.
