Grokipedia was recently unveiled on Monday by Elon Musk as an online open-source information, as part of his AI project, Grok. Users have taken to X (formerly Twitter) to share their frustration, claiming the new website is allegedly aldready "broken." This user wrote:

"Excuse me sir, but it looks like your fancy new website’s already broken🤨"

This reaction comes just a day after Elon Musk announced the lauch of Grokipedia. The website can be used free of cost, making it accessible to everyone. The platform, which has reportedly generated "1M articles" aldready, also allows users to "ask Grok to add/modify/delete articles and it will either take the action or tell you it won’t and why.”

More about Grokipedia, as fans react with disappointment over the website's problems

The news about Grokipedia being developed was first announced by last month, in September, stating that the website would be a "massive improvement over Wikipedia, [adding that it would also be a] "necessary step towards the xAI goal of understanding the Universe.

Grokipedia actually takes articles from Wikipedia and then changes them to release articles that are supposedly unbiased. The launch of version 0.1 was announced by Elon Musk, who has previously talked at lengths about the problems regarding Wikipedia. He wrote on X (formerly Twitter) that the next version would be far superior. He wrote:

"Grokipedia.com version 0.1 is now live. Version 1.0 will be 10X better, but even at 0.1 it’s better than Wikipedia imo."

Now, fans have taken to X (formerly Twitter) to point out the inconsistencies in Grokipedia. This user wrote:

"You didn’t build Grokipedia to inform people, you built it to control what they learn."

Another added:

"If you put a page from Grokipedia through Grok and asked for the flaws and logical fallacies in the page, it will give you ALL of the flaws. This is embarrassing."

This user wrote:

"I read some articles randomly and it's totally nonsense and biased, who agree?"

This person said:

"I wish this didn't happen. Not that it is not great but wikipedia was built by real people and it was done not for profit and people poured hours to preserve the knowledge of mankind. It just feels wrong. Again not to hate on new invention though."
"Search needs major improvement. Love the platform so far!" added another.

On the other hand, many people have praised Elon Musk for launching Grokipedia as a alternate to Wikipedia.
