Trisha Paytas joins a growing list of Euphoria cast members: Here's what we know
Trisha Paytas, 37, who shares Malibu, 2, Elvis, 17 months, and Aquaman, 3 months, with husband Moses Hacmon, will not be the only newcomer joining the infamous Sam Levinson show. Danielle Deadwyler, Natasha Lyonne, Rebecca Pidgeon, Colleen Camp, and Sam Trammel will all be joining her, alongside Sharon Stone and Rosalía.
However, not every character's storyline will play out. Angus Cloud tragically died in July 2023, and E! News has reported that his character, Fezco, will be written out of the show. Barbie Ferreira, who played Kat, and Storm Reid, who played Zendaya's character Rue's younger sister, Gia, also announced their departures.
The show is reportedly expected to pick up years after where it ended in season 2. As of this writing, Trisha Paytas' character has not been disclosed, though sources told Variety the forthcoming season will “expand the world” of the show beyond its original high school bubble.
Production for season 3 is expected to pick up early next year, and it is being touted as more “mature” and “introspective." Sam Levinson will reportedly focus on how Rue and her peers navigate the dynamics of early adulthood.
