Ray J's legal process continues, with a December court date lined up after his release on bond. His arrest came after he reportedly pointed a gun at his ex-wife, Princess Love, on a livestream. In the livestream, Ray is seen getting up from his chair with a gun in his pocket, and later on, Love repeatedly tells Ray:

"Ray, you pointed a gun at us."

Ray told Love:

"Drive drunk, Princess. Go ahead. You wanna take my kids? You and your drunk cousin?"

In the livestream, Ray rejected her claims regarding the gun, saying:

"I didn’t point nothing at y’all."

After her repeatedly telling Ray that he pointed a gun at her, Ray says:

"Yeah, whatever"

After the incident, Ray J was taken to the Los Angeles Jail, where he was arrested for making a criminal threat. The singer was soon released on a $50,000 bond.

When is Ray J appearing in court?

As per TMZ, Ray J is expected to return to court on December 19, a date that will determine how his legal situation progresses from here. The outlet also captured him leaving the jail in a black t-shirt. Another video showed him smoking and talking to his manager while standing against a wall.

His manager, commenting on the situation, said:

"We're free. You know what happened. He called his manager, and I came and got him."

Soon after the incident, Princess Love also uploaded an Instagram video, speaking publicly for the first time about the incident. In the reported video, according to TMZ, she said:

"I just want to say, I've been doing a really great job at protecting my peace and staying off of social media and just going to work, taking care of my kids, minding my business, and loving my kids. And I would never do anything to put them in danger, including leaving them with a man who's waving a gun around."

Princess added that she handles her kids' responsibilities alone, including taking them to school, putting them to sleep, and attending the parent-teacher meeting, while criticizing her ex-husband for being away all the time and 'terrorizing women.'

She added:

"What I'm not about to do is let you deflect and not take the accountability for your actions, for pulling a gun out on me and my cousin's husband because I was trying to take my kids and leave your house."

She said she came to cook for Thanksgiving, so Ray could spend time with the kids, urging him to take responsibility and consider getting help.

Ray J shared his side too, saying the others were drunk and he didn't want them driving with his kids. He added that he asked Princess to leave but didn't agree with her waking the children up just to take them.
