Shannon Sharpe, celebrated NFL Hall of Famer, is facing rape accusations from his ex-girlfriend, and comedian Justina Valentine jokingly alluded to the controversy in an episode of the Nightcap podcast.
In a video shared by @FearedBuck on X, Sharpe and the co-hosts are rounding up the episode, and the former thanks guest Valentine for showing up, promising to invite her to his personal podcast, Club Shay Shay.
The podcast host stated that he had never had a white woman on Club Shay Shay, and Justina Valentine referenced his legal drama. Her statement caused Sharpe and the other co-hosts to stare in shock and laugh.
The conversation at the end of the Nightcap episode went as follows:
Shannon Sharpe: "Justina appreciate for your time we appreciate you stopping by at Nightcap . We are definitely going to have you on Club Shay Shay. You know what? I’m trying to think; I don’t think we’ve ever had a white woman on the show."
Justina Valentine: "Well, Shay Shay, we know what happens with you and white women, but I’m a different kind. I’m a different kind, Unc. I’ve been to the cookout for a long time now. Don’t worry about it. Naw, but thank you so much for having me, Joe, Chad, Unc and Unc. Remember, I’m a white girl you could trust, we gon’ talk more later. That’s all, thank you."
Shannon Sharpe: "But, some things I’m just never gonna live down ever."
