The Celeste Rivas case has a new update. A science teacher revealed that the deceased was his student and alleged she knew D4vd, whom he refers to as a rapper. In a video shared by TMZ, the teacher, whose name wasn't disclosed, showed his class pictures of himself with Celeste as proof.
“That's her in my classroom in front of this poster,” the teacher said, receiving gasps from his students. “Hold up, I got another one because I got a picture on TMZ of this other kid exchanging stuff with the rapper who allegedly did this stuff. Hold on a second because he's also in my classroom.”
He stated that Celeste Rivas went missing during the time he taught her.
“This, we all just found out yesterday who it was, but she's been missing since I taught her. So when I taught her, she met this dude on social media. He was a rapper in LA. He came and got her. She ran away from home, and she was gone for like a month. The cops found her in Hollywood and brought her back to our school. She came back to our school and kind of told people the story. She disappeared again in May of that year. May of 2024. That's when her friends told me what happened, and it was this rapper, and then I found out yesterday that she's now dead in that rapper's car, cut into pieces. You want to know how that met? I feel like I just said it, social media.”
The teacher also told TMZ that he taught Celeste at Lakeland Village Middle School in Lake Elsinore, CA. He added that she was mostly absent, but he knew nothing about her home life.

News about a bag of cut-up human remains found in an abandoned Tesla circulated all over social media on September 9, 2025. It was announced that the vehicle belonged to popular American singer D4vd. According to reports, the singer wasn't aware of the incident until the police informed him. He was on tour at the time.
The body, which was later identified as Celeste Rivas, was severely decomposed when it was found. Celeste's mother shared that she was suspicious of the Tesla discovery, as Celeste’s boyfriend was also named David.
Several investigations have linked the singer and Celeste. Most recently, it was discovered that all of the singer’s last posts and some of his music videos were released on September 7, 2025, the deceased's birthday.
