Kanye West, also known as Ye, has sparked discussions online after he made a problematic statement during a live stream. On Tuesday, April 29, Kanye appeared on Sneako and N3on's live stream and commented on the late Virgil Abloh. He said:

Ah man, I gotta use the bathroom, where's Virgil's grave?

This comment from Kanye has received backlash, and this is what one of the netizens had to say about Ye's comment:

''Nothing cool about that kinda disrespect''- said @suayrez

The internet is outraged as Kanye West mocked late Virgil Abloh during a live stream

During a recent live stream of Sneako and N3on, hosted as a listening session following Kanye's eleventh studio album Donda 2's release, Kanye made an offensive statement.

Kanye's statement, "Ah man, I gotta use the bathroom, where's Virgil's grave?", and the clip of the live stream in which he's saying it are circulating on the internet, and netizens are expressing their disappointment.

This is what some of them had to say:

''If you been a ye fan since atleast 2015 yk how sad it is to hear him say sumn like that''- added @Cryptodemigod17
''he’s the most disgusting creature rn, i loved his music so much but now i can’t even listen one song''- remarked @eyes_cinema
''Of all the stuff he has said and done, he draws the line at this??? They all look and sound like corny high school boys''- commented @bottymcb0tters

Netizens also commented on Sneako, as he was a part of the live stream. This is what they said about him:

''really didn’t expect from Sneako to be a yes man and laugh along…''- stated @2KIntel
''Sneako loves this kind of controversy''- criticized @Echo_on_X

These were some of the reactions Kanye's statement received. The late Virgil Abloh was a fashion designer and a businessman. In 2018, he became Louis Vuitton’s first Black artistic director for menswear and was well-known for his collaborations with brands like Nike and musicians, including Kanye West.

For context, the late Virgil had worked closely with Kanye's brand Yeezy, which defined the brand's identity. Kanye, however, was not happy with him taking up the LV gig, as he left that Virgil had bonded with the plans they had for Yeezy. Virgil died in November 2021, he was suffering from cardiac angiosarcoma.

During the live stream, Kanye made some more statements, explaining how Virgil went against him, which led to his death. During the stream, he said:

''And I'm like, man, ns who go against me be dead, bro. Ns who steal from me, bro, look at Virgil, he dead, bro. N****s who steal from me and try to take the king position be dead, bro.”

Although Kanye and the late Virgil shared a friendship in the past, Kanye's recent controversial statements have shocked netizens and sparked debates on the internet.
