Pedro Pascal and his sister, Lux Pascal, shared a special moment at the Cannes Film Festival during the premiere of his new film, “Eddington,” on Friday, May 16, 2025. Lux, a devoted transgender activist, attended the premiere to show her support for her older brother.

Lux walked the red carpet wearing a dazzling white dress. The special moment happened when 50-year-old Pedro spotted his sister strutting down the red carpet while he was standing next to co-star Emma Stone.

In the viral clip circulating over social media, he can be seen using his phone to capture his sister's red carpet moment while exclaiming, “That's my sister!”

Next to him, Emma Stone can be seen seemingly cheering the red carpet moment between the siblings.

More details on Lux Pascal’s appearance at Cannes

Lux Pascal appeared wearing a figure-hugging, floor-length gown at her brother's film premiere. The gown featured a dramatically long train, pleats, and a thigh-high split.

The white gown boasted panelling and silver and gold detailing that ran from the tiny straps down one side of the dress. The dainty straps at the back of the gown highlighted her toned back. Lux carried a flawless face of nude makeup, which accentuated her natural features. She accessorized with diamond earrings and a ring, leaving her hair flowing down her shoulders.

Pedro and Lux's special moment at the Cannes Film Festival isn't the first time the siblings have supported each other. In 2024, Pedro praised his sister in an interview with Esquire.

“She is and has always been one of the most powerful people and personalities I’ve ever known. My protective side is lethal, but I need her more than she needs me.”

On Sunday, April 27, 2025, during the Madrid’s Platino Awards, Lux Pascal talked about her brother’s love and support towards her, claiming that he is as kind as he seems.

“I’m incredibly proud. But the thing is that I’ve always known that he is a superstar. It’s funny because people have been asking me, ‘Is he as kind as we think he is?’ And I’m like, ‘Yes!'"
“He wears all of his humanity on his sleeve and doesn't hide who he is. And I think that’s refreshing, because usually we move around the world hiding who we are. That’s the main lesson I’ve gotten from him: there’s no reason for me to hide who I am, right? And I think people are seeing that,” she added.
