Rockstar Games is dropping new information about the upcoming GTA 6 one after the other. After the last trailer released in 2024, the company released a new trailer titled Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 2 on May 6. The trailer quickly gained the attention of the fans and has over 83 million views as of May 8 and is trending at Number 1.
As per the trailer, the game will have two protagonists, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, who get caught in a criminal plot in Vice City after a failed heist. Rockstar Games also added the story of GTA 6 in the description box, which said,
"Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive."
While fans were loving the new trailer for its graphics and details, Rockstar Games uploaded another tweet on May 7 that read,
"Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 2 was captured entirely in-game from a PlayStation 5, comprised of equal parts gameplay and cutscenes."
The statement confirmed that the new GTA 6 trailer was filmed using real gaming footage from a PlayStation 5.
