Hailey Bieber faced excessive postpartum bleeding during her labor
Hailey Bieber went through eighteen hours of labor before welcoming her baby. Reflecting on the intense experience, she opened up about the physical and emotional challenges she faced. Hailey explained her journey of giving birth by adding,
"That sh*t was so crazy. That was not fun. They broke my water. I went into labor and I labored for a few hours. No epidural, nothing."
Despite the fear and complications, Hailey expressed deep trust in her medical team throughout the process by adding,
"I trust my doctor with my life. And so I had peace that I knew she would never let anything happen to me. But I was bleeding really badly, and people die, and the thought crosses your mind."
The interview also covered Hailey’s postpartum experience after giving birth, where she spoke honestly about the changes her body went through. She said recovery isn’t always easy, and the body doesn’t just 'bounce back' to its original shape. Instead, she talked about how important it is to accept and feel okay with these lasting changes.
Hailey Bieber also appreciated her son, Jack, in the interview by adding,
"He’s my priority. He is the most important thing to me. It's been my biggest teacher so far, the biggest teacher in my relationship. You see your partner so differently. I think you empathize with your parents a lot more. There’s so much perspective that comes with it.”
Even though Hailey Bieber faced difficulties during labor, the model is enjoying her motherhood. She also shared a post on Mother’s Day, featuring special moments with her baby.
