If you have not been keeping up with the Beckhams, here is a revelation about Brooklyn Beckham's relationship with his parents. Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, Nicola Peltz, have not been seen at many family events recently. For example, the couple was missing from David Beckham's 50th birthday, and Peltz clarified that it was an uncomfortable situation for them to be in. This comes from the fact that Kim Turnbull, Romeo Beckham's current girlfriend, has a history with her husband.

But the Beckhams have made multiple attempts to bring Brooklyn back into the family. For instance, on Mother's Day, David Beckham posted a cute photo of his wife and their children cuddled up around her. He wrote:

"Happy Mother’s Day to the best mommy @victoriabeckham. To all our friends in the US happy Mother’s Day," then proceeded to tag three of his son's Instagram accounts, including a hashtag for Harper's name (#HarperSeven), who does not have any social media.

Brooklyn Beckham did not respond publicly to his father's Instagram post. An insider source told Us Weekly:

"Things never really got smoothed over, and you can tell it still affects everyone... The tension is still present, and it’s hard for Brooklyn at times. Brooklyn’s having a tough time with it. He’s super stubborn and just wants space from his family right now."

Going back to the beginning of the rift, many suspected that the driving wedge between Brooklyn's relationship with the Beckhams goes back to the wedding. It might have started when his now-wife, Nicola Peltz, decided to wear a Valentino gown over the one her designer mother-in-law made for her. No one from the family has confirmed if this was the starting point.

Over the years, the bad blood seems to have spread. At the moment, reports say that Brooklyn Beckham and his parents are not on talking terms. Another source revealed after the recent Mother's Day post:

"There has been no call, no contact, nothing... As parents, David and Victoria are concerned for their son and they have tried to get in touch but he isn’t interested... David even tried through social media last Monday because he fears that his son won’t know that he and Victoria love him so dearly otherwise."

They added:

"It is a terribly sad situation. They just want him to know that they are there for him when he’s ready to talk to them but he simply doesn’t seem very interested at all... Nicola must be behind this, she has been driving this wedge for some years now," the source mentioned.

As for Nicola Peltz's role in the family, a close family friend shared:

"The view is that Victoria thinks Nicola is a narcissist... Nicola has love-bombed Brooklyn since the day they met and has tried to convince him that she is all he needs, and then she has cut him off from his family... Victoria thinks that Nicola has used Brooklyn for all she can get to elevate herself and that has really worked for her – she’s a Beckham now. Victoria absolutely loves her son – she always will."

The friend also commented on Victoria Beckham's perception of her daughter-in-law. They said:

"But with Nicola it’s an entirely different story. She despises her, she tried her best to make up after the wedding row but this time it all seems extremely unlikely. Victoria has had enough."

The tension between Brooklyn Beckham, Nicola Peltz, and his parents seems to have risen over the recent days. However, Brooklyn's family has always expressed their love for him in different ways. Even his youngest sister, Harper, expressed how much she missed her big brother during family events.
