In these widely shared pictures, Combs could be seen smiling in selfies and enjoying himself with his prison mates. However, it turns out that most of these pictures were AI-generated.These widely shared fake images bore the watermark of TMZ, which made them more plausible. The media outlet has now set the record straight and rejected the ownership of any such pictures. In its December 1 exclusive, TMZ reported that the viral pictures were a sophisticated work of AI.In one of the pictures, Diddy was seen serving food onto his plate while another prison inmate was hugging him from behind. In addition to these pictures, there was even an AI-generated video in which Sean Combs was seemingly hanging out with inmates on a basketball court inside the prison. In all the doctored photographs, Combs looked joyful.Diddy's representative slammed AI fabrications in a statementIn its Monday exclusive, the publication also shared Diddy's representative's response to these AI pictures. Juda Engelmayer called these photographs "disconcerting.""These images are not real. They are A.I. fabrications. Sean has always treated people with kindness and respect, but it’s disconcerting how often manipulated or AI-generated images are being pushed into the conversation while he is in a federal facility. Nothing in these doctored photos reflects reality," Juda Engelmayer told TMZ.However, TMZ noted that the picture shared by them on October 31 was authentic. This was seemingly the first picture of the convicted rapper from the Fort Dix facility. Sean Combs was spotted with a grey beard.The publication recently reported that Combs sponsored Thanksgiving meals for 1000 prison inmates at the Fort Dix facility. On this occasion, the rapper issued a statement through his rep."Thanksgiving, to me, is about making sure other people eat. Everybody misses their family. People get depressed during the holidays. We just wanted to come together as a family and do our own thing," Diddy's rep told TMZ.Sean Combs is currently serving a 50-month prison sentence for violating the Mann Act.
