Adam Grandmaison, aka Adam22, was a guest at the Clickbaited show hosted by Mike Kent on June 3, 2025, and he recounted his experience of being attacked on a live stream in 2018. Adam22, who hosts the No Jumper podcast, described how the attack happened.

The podcaster and YouTuber stated that a guy in a mask who had been hiding out in the street forced his way into his old store and pointed a gun at him, trying to steal from him:

“So I was sitting in the back of my old store on Melrose in, I guess, 2018? And we are doing one of these late-night music streams where people were donating, I think, $75 for us to listen to their music.”

Adam22 added:

“We were all hanging out, me and a couple other guys. We order food, and one of my guys goes outside; he grabs the food, he’s bringing it in, he’s putting it on the table, he’s trying to open up the bags of food, and some guy had been lurking in the alley with a mask on. He crept in through the door while it was open for a second with his g*n and runs at me and says: 'Give me all your fu**ing money.'"

"They informed us it wasn’t a real gun,” Adam22, says as he recounted being attacked in Melrose in 2018

The 41-year-old, popular for his podcast No Jumper, which discovers upcoming rap talent, stated that he ended up tussling with the attacker for the gun while one of his friends pulled out his own weapon:

“And points the gun at me. I…., you know, we end up in an encounter of some sort where I’m tryna pull the gun out of his hands and everything like that. What people can’t see in the clip is that my dude who was with me had his gun out and always had his gun pointed at the dude’s head.”

He continued:

“For whatever reason, he couldn’t pull the trigger. It would be a very different story cos of 'free body’ right there. As Chief Keef told me afterwards. He goes, 'There was a free body', which really stood out to me that Chief Keef was basically telling me that we weren’t murderful enough.”

After Adam22 and his friends overpowered the robber, the cops came, and it was discovered that he was attacking Adam with a fake gun.

“Eventually, the guy was taken to the ground... A couple of my friends beat the sh** out of him. He was thrown to the ground, knocked him unconscious—he was out cold. We called the cops. The cops came. They dragged him off the ground. Took him out of there. They figured out. They informed us that it was not a real gun. It was a prop with duct tape on the handle. As far as I know, that was the end of it.”

Adam22 also opened up about going broke on the Clickbaited podcast. He talked about his wife’s reality show and responded to accusations of a crypto scam from YouTuber and cryptocurrency journalist Coffeezilla.
