Fanum, whose real name is Roberto Gonzalez, has been all over social media recently. Fanum, who is a part of the content creator group AMP (Any Means Possible), has been in a controversy.

Recently, Fanum posted some cryptic messages on social media that hinted at his departure from the AMP group. There were also screenshots from Snapchat shared on X (formerly Twitter) that hinted at the fallout.

Fanum had risen to popularity with the slang "Fanum Tax," meaning taking a bite or a portion of someone's food under the pretence of tax. It is a lighthearted slang that's now used in memes all over TikTok, Twitch, and other social media platforms.

Has the Fanum Tax streamer left AMP?

AMP is the content creators group that includes creators like Fanum, Kai Cenat, Agent 00, and Duke Dennis. The term Fanum Tax was discovered by the streamer Fanum, who is well-known for his vlogs, lifestyle videos, and NBA 2K content. He would often steal food from his friends during the live streams.

Kai Cenat said that once Fanum had barged into his room and taken his cookies, that was the moment the term Fanum Tax came into the picture. For quite some time, it was an inside joke within the AMP community, until it got viral and was used by everyone all over the internet.

Recently, on May 7, 2025, some screenshots from Snapchat were shared by a user on X. According to these screenshots, AMP had unfollowed Fanum and also had revoked his access to the social media handles.

Fanum then posted a cryptic tweet on his X handle. This is what they said:

''they forget all the sh*t that I did, I was feeding the team when I didn't have sh*t❗️. I was taking a risk, I done got all of us rich.''

Another statement that he posted read:

''They think they’re actual gods. We know who God really is.''

The screenshots and these statements from Fanum hinted that he had faced betrayal from the people he was close to. He also hinted at internal conflicts and misunderstandings within the team.

AMP has not officially responded to any of Fanum's tweets. Even after the ongoing rumours and statements from Fanum, AMP's official social media accounts on X and Instagram, do follow Fanum.

However, as soon as the screenshots and Fanum's tweets came in, they caught the attention of netizens. Some believe that the group might be falling out, or having issues related to the creative direction, or revenue sharing, while others feel that it could be a publicity stunt.

Currently, AMP or Fanum has not given any updates about the situation, so it remains a mystery, and fans are eagerly waiting to know what lies ahead for the content creators.
