The Drake Curse has struck again and this time Anthony Joshua is the benefactor. Canadian rapper Drake is arguably one of the most successful rappers of all time; however, he has a bad reputation when it comes to betting. The God’s Plan hitmaker is known for inspiring losses when it comes to placing bets, specifically in sports. The 39-year-old rapper is widely regarded as having the "Drake Curse," a belief that whoever he bets on loses the game.

Jake Paul, unfortunately, was the rapper’s latest victim. In recent months, the Canadian rapper placed a bet that Jake Paul would win against Tommy Fury in a boxing match, but sadly, he lost. He also put a bet on Mike Tyson and Nate Diaz beating Jake Paul, and true to his alleged Drake Curse, the rapper lost.

Ahead of the highly anticipated Friday match between Anthony Joshua and YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul, the Canadian rapper reportedly placed a $200k in support of Jake winning against Anthony. In true Drake Curse fashion, the reverse happened as Anthony knocked Jake out in the sixth round of the match. Reports say the rapper would have earned a huge sum of $1.64 million if his predictions had been correct.
