iDubbbz (Ian Carter) and Donut Operator (Cody Garrett) were once friends who shared an interest in content creation. They spent time together, including going to shooting ranges and discussing video ideas. However, their friendship ended abruptly over a video that one of them thought was a joke—and the other saw as an insult.
The feud came to public attention after Donut Operator spoke about it on the Unsubscribe Podcast. He talked about a video he made during the COVID-19 lockdown. The video was meant to be funny, but it caused a major fallout. Since then, the two YouTubers have not spoken to each other, despite one of them trying to reconnect.
After the podcast clip went viral, iDubbbz presented his side of the story on social media.
What started the fight between iDubbbz and Donut Operator?
The fight began over a parody video made by Donut Operator. On the Unsubscribe Podcast, he explained that during COVID-19, he made a fake OnlyFans video. In the video, he rated pieces of meat like steak as a joke. He called it “showing my meat,” but it was not s*xual. He said he sent the video to his friend thinking it was funny:
"So, he went to a range day with me one time, like we used to talk a lot about content creation and stuff, and COVID rolls around, I get bored at home, so I make an OnlyF*ns where I'm showing my meat... Well, basically I'm taking a steak and I'm rating a steak... I sent it to Ian and, he got mad and called me and said like I was making fun of Anisa, and like I wasn't. I just thought it was a funny bit... Haven't talked to him since, that was like five years ago. Yeah, and I've like texted him, and tried to reconnect with him, he just won't talk to me anymore."
According to Donut, iDubbbz got upset because he thought the video was mocking his wife, Anisa Jomha, who had started her own real OnlyFans account. Donut said that was never his intention and that he just wanted to make a joke.
Donut said he tried to contact iDubbbz many times after that to patch things up. But he claimed that the latter ignored all his messages. Their friendship never recovered.
How did iDubbbz respond to Donut Operator's story?
After Donut’s podcast clip went viral online, iDubbbz responded on X (formerly Twitter). He said Donut was not telling the full story. He said that Donut’s girlfriend at the time had also considered starting an OnlyFans account, and the parody video may have been a way for Donut to avoid public criticism:
"Conveniently leaving out that your gf at the time was pursuing OnlyFans. But you were too pu**y to deal with the criticism so you made a 'parody' account. -no, I don't want to be friends with a coward."
He made it clear that he did not want to be friends with Donut Operator anymore. He said he thought Donut was being dishonest and hiding behind humor.
The feud between iDubbbz and Donut Operator started over an apparent joke but grew into something deeper. It touched on personal feelings, respect, and public image. Each side told a different version of what happened, and neither seemed willing to forgive or move on.
