Jill Biden's ex-husband's wife, Linda Stevenson, is no more. Before marrying Joe in 1977, Jill was married to Bill Stevenson. Their marriage reportedly lasted for five years.
According to TMZ reports, Bill called the police to report a fight at his home in Delaware before his wife's death. At the scene, police discovered Linda lying in the living room and showing no signs of response. Her official cause of death has not been released yet.
According to the statement released by New Castle County Police:
"Upon entering the home, officers located 64-year-old Linda Stevenson unresponsive in the living room. Officers immediately administered life-saving measures; however, despite their efforts, Linda Stevenson was later pronounced deceased. Detectives from the Division’s Criminal Investigations Unit were notified and responded to the scene to assume the investigation."

After her death, Linda Stevenson's body was taken to the Delaware Division of Forensic Science. Her official cause of death has not yet been confirmed, as police are waiting for the autopsy results.

Jill Biden and Stevenson were married for five years. Speaking of the failed marriage, Jill Biden's biographer Julie Pace reportedly said:
"She had these expectations of sort of what that marriage was going to be, and the marriage did not live up to those expectations. She was incredibly young and probably a bit naive about what life was going to look like, and it stings her. It really stings her, and it makes her question quite a bit."

Bill is reportedly cooperating with police at this time. However, his daughter, Christina Vettori, has denied talking to him, according to a statement reported by the Daily Mail:
"It’s still a murder investigation. I would not like to talk at this time."
