Lee Jun-ho most recently appeared in the drama Typhoon Family, released this year on Netflix. Following the upcoming release of Cashero, reports of Lee Jun-ho being in talks for Veteran 3 have created even more excitement among fans.

According to the statement given by the spokesperson of the actor to OSEN and reported by Chosun:

"Lee Junho received a love call from the production team of 'Veteran 3' and is positively considering appearing."

As of now, nothing has been confirmed about Lee Jun-ho's appearance in Veteran 3. The news remains based on speculation, with Lee Jun-ho yet to officially sign on for the project. Details about the movie's cast lineup and release date have also not been revealed, keeping fans curious about what's next.

Lee Jun-ho reveals how he selects a new project

The first Veteran movie was released ten years ago in 2015, starring Yoo Ah In and Hwang Jung Min in the main roles. Speaking on how Lee selects a project, he said in a Forbes interview:

"When it came to choosing my next work, I examined scripts with the hopes of having a different genre or atmosphere from my previous work."

Lee Jun-ho further talked about his two famous dramas, King the Land and The Red Sleeve, saying:

"I found King the Land a very easy-to-watch drama. It seemed like anyone could catch up on it even watching it from the middle of an episode. I decided to participate in this drama because I felt that it was like a small kind of healing that anyone could, at any time, turn on while eating or going somewhere and still enjoy it comfortably."

He continued:

"Shooting The Red Sleeve gave me hope that a good atmosphere on the set creates good work. Maybe that’s why I thought that if I took responsibility and worked together with the staff and actors on the set, we could produce an enjoyable drama."

This has built hope among fans that the actor might actually appear in Veteran 3, which belongs to a very different genre, especially with the huge fandom the project already has.

Lee Jun-ho also recently started his own agency, O3 Collective, this year. According to the agency, the name stands for combining an artist's personality, original content, and management system.

Soon after the agency was launched, the agency released another statement on Instagram, writing:

"I would like to inform you that I won't accept any gifts except fan letters to receive only the support and love from my fans. I respectfully reject the gifts and wreaths that you send to the affiliates, so please understand. Return and removal can be processed for items that you send without prior consultation."
