Mo Gilligan is one of the UK's most beloved comedy performers. He has notably moved from viral sketches to arena tours and international TV work. The comedian is officially preparing to return to Australia and New Zealand in 2026 with his new world tour, The Mo You Know. The shows are part of a global schedule that will cover North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
Mo Gilligan landed his first lead role in a film in early 2024. He starred in the animated feature 10 Lives, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in the United States. The project was his official debut as a film lead. The film was met with notable acclaim from critics and audiences.
Mo Gilligan's upcoming AU and NZ tour follows his previous global trek, In The Moment World Tour. After that run ended, he took to his official Instagram to pen the following note:
"I ended my world tour after 18 months on the road at the famous O2 Arena, playing in front of 17,000. I am not here to give you a sob story, but when I left school, I felt like I had absolutely no purpose. I was the class clown with poor GCSEs, I didn’t have a clue what I was really good at."
Mo Gilligan also added:
"I found stand-up comedy at the age of 19, and the journey really started from there. Comedy has truly taken me to some of the most amazing places imaginable, but standing in front of 17,000 people at the O2 Arena on Saturday night was truly one of the greatest nights of my life that’s I’ll never forget. Words can’t express how difficult it was starting this world tour 18 months ago."
