This unfortunate incident immediately brought to mind Nick’s confession on the Dopey podcast, where he shared how he wrecked his parents’ guest house during a time he was high on drugs.

“Yeah, I went 10 rounds in my guest house,” he began. “It's totally not much of a story. I totally spun out on uppers, I think it was Coke or something else, and I was up for days on end. I started punching out different things in my guest house.”

He added:

“I think I started out with the TV and went over to the lamp. Everything in the guest house got wrecked.”

When asked if he punched the TV, he responded:

“Yeah, I literally punched the TV.”

Nick Reiner admitted he couldn't remember if he was hurt as he was about to have a heart attack.

Nick began struggling with drug addiction when he was a teen and was in and out of rehab until he was 19 years old. He and his late father once did a movie together, Being Charlie, which explored his struggles with addiction and how it affected the relationship between a famous father and his struggling son.
