Playboi Carti is coming to Fortnite!

The news that has been circulating for a while now was finally confirmed by the rapper on Instagram. The game also confirmed the rumors and gave users a surprise appearance during the Zero Hour event.

The Zero Hour event was held on November 29, and the organizers surprised fans with their first look at the Playboi Carti Fortnite skin. The rapper's skin was unveiled after players teleported to a basketball court, transforming into Playboi Carti in the process. Carti’s hit song EVIL JORDAN was played in the court.

Soon after, the skin began circulating across social media. An X account, @Fecooo_, shared the complete look of the skin launched at the Zero Hour event.

Playboi Carti’s skin features a blue basketball jersey with “I AM MUSIC” graphic printed on the back and “Carti” on the front. The number “00” was also printed on both the front and back of the jersey. The jersey is paired with black suspenders. A black belt with a silver “I AM MUSIC” buckle holds up the pants. A pair of brown Timberland boots completed the outfit.

Playboi Carti has joined the ranks of rappers like Travis Scott, Eminem, and Juice WRLD to collaborate with Fortnite. Many details about the rapper’s collab with the game have not been released; however, fans believe the I Am Music hitmaker will include two skins, two instruments, and multiple Jam Tracks, just like the collaborations that have come before.

It is reported that Carti isn't joining the game as part of its Festival line-up, but as a straightforward Item Shop collaboration. It is not known when the rapper’s skin will be released, but it will be soon.

Playboi Carti and Fortnite’s collab was revealed days after K-pop sensation Lisa was announced as the headliner of the Fortnite 2025 Festival, its twelfth season.

The Fortnite Festival Season 12 will begin on Saturday, November 29, 2025, the same day as the launch of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1.

The Fortnite x Lisa collaboration is expected to include two different skins for the headliner, one for the Music Pass and another for the Item Shop. And, as with previous collaborations, the crossover will feature the Rockstar singer’s music as Jam Tracks and other cosmetics, including Instruments, Loading Screens, and more.

More details about Lisa and Playboi Carti’s collaborations with Fortnite are expected to be revealed in the days leading up to their official launch.
