Meghan Markle’s sister, Samantha Markle, slammed the public figure after claims of Markle reaching out to their father began to circulate on social media. Samantha took to her official X account to call out Meghan via a series of tweets after the latter reportedly reached out to her estranged father.

On Saturday, December 6, the 61-year-old author replied to a post on X that read:

“After reports her father Thomas Markle is seriously ill, we hear Meghan has reached out to him to find out what’s happened/what his condition is.”

Samantha commented underneath:

“While talk is cheap, so you can believe it if she and Harry put that on a private jet and into the best medical care in the United States until then it's just PR b*******.”

She also shared that Meghan and her significant other could provide Thomas Markle with medical support.

“When he heals a little bit, he should be on a plane into one of the best hospitals in the United States. Let's see Harry and Meghan step up to the plate.”

Samantha Markle added in another tweet:

“Planes come in handy for a lot of things.”

While sharing a picture of a plane flying across the sky with the words “GFY MEG” formed in its smoke.

Meghan and Samantha Markle’s father’s health condition

Meghan Markle’s estranged father, Thomas Markle Sr., was rushed to the hospital for an emergency surgery after he suddenly fell ill at his home in the Philippines. The 81-year-old went through a three-hour surgery and is set to undergo another procedure to remove a blood clot.

Meghan and Samantha Markle’s brother announced:

“I took dad to a hospital close to our home, and they did various scans, and the doctors said his life was in imminent danger. They raced us by ambulance, with the sirens going, to a much bigger hospital in the centre of the city. My dad has undergone emergency surgery. I would ask everyone around the world to keep him in their thoughts.”

Samantha Markle commented on the situation, saying she was praying for him.

“He is a strong man, but he has been through so much. I am praying that he is strong enough to survive this. My father has been through two heart attacks, a stroke and an earthquake. I hope he can pull through this.”

Thomas Markle had his leg amputated below his knee on December 3. A spokesperson for Meghan told People magazine that the Duchess reached out to her estranged father following the news.
