Tiffany Jenkins, co-host of The TIFF & Flip Show and Comedian, launched her memoir A Clean Mess: A Memoir of Sobriety After a Lifetime of Being Numb on June 4, 2025. A snippet from the audiobook sample of the book on Instagram provides some insight into what might have caused a breakdown in her marriage with her ex-husband, Drew.
According to an official overview from Barnes & Noble:
“A Clean Mess opens with the moment that changed everything. Tiffany is about to go on stage when she receives an odd message from her husband: ‘Hey Babe, some of the guys here are making some stupid decisions. Not me. But I just wanted to let you know in case you heard it from some of the other wives.’ By the end of the night, Tiffany knew her life would never be the same.”
While Tiffany Jenkins stated in an April 2024 YouTube video that she would not be discussing her divorce online, the audiobook and overview of the memoir seemingly suggest that an incident at a bachelor party changed the trajectory of her marriage.
In the snippet from the audiobook, Tiffany Jenkins recounts a story:
"A pit formed in my stomach as I stared down at my phone. I was backstage in Omaha, Nebraska, getting ready to do a show on the My Name Is Not Mom tour. Something about my husband's message was off."
The comedian shared that Drew was out at a bachelor party as she prepared for a show and sent her a text that read:
"Hey, babe! Some of the guys here are making some stupid decisions, not me. But I just wanted to let you know in case you heard it from some of the other wives."
She wondered why he’d sent such a text, and her “spider senses” were hinting that something was wrong. Jenkins added that Drew was at a bachelor party attended by some of their mutual friends.
She didn’t believe they were engaging in alcohol or drugs, as several of the attendees had steered clear of these substances for more than a decade. Tiffany Jenkins narrated that she had tried messaging and FaceTiming her ex-husband, but he didn’t pick up.
“He has moved on with someone I’m obsessed with,” Tiffany Jenkins said about ex-husband’s new partner
In an April 2024 YouTube video uploaded on her Juggling the Jenkins channel, the comedian and podcast host announced that she had been divorced from her husband for a year at the time. Tiffany Jenkins gave an update on co-parenting with her former husband and how she’d accepted his new partner:
“He has moved on with someone who I’m obsessed with. She’s wonderful. I am seeing someone; we are co-parenting, and everything is amazing. I don’t want to document that part of my life on the internet, I just don’t want the opinions of thousands of strangers on my situation.”
The mom of two also revealed in the video that she experienced trauma in 2022, and she was still healing from that.
"In 2022, some s--t went off the deep end. It was crazy, it was traumatic, it was hard, it was really hard. And I’ve just been healing from that, and I’m not the kind of person who can just make content to make content."
