Trump Mobile is also set to launch a golden-hued “T1” smartphone, priced at $499. The $47.45 per month plan is a nod to President Donald Trump’s terms as the 47th and 45th president of the United States. The news of the launch comes shortly after President Donald Trump celebrated his 79th birthday on June 14, 2025.

His son, Eric Trump, has been promoting the launch of the new smartphone. Here is what we know.

How is Donald Trump’s son, Eric Trump, contributing to the promotion of Trump Mobile?

President Donald Trump’s son Eric Trump has been playing a pivotal role in the promotion of the newly launched Trump Mobile. As executive vice president of the Trump Organization, he has been making statements emphasizing the services and qualities of the phone.

Sharing more details about the newly launched company, Donald Trump Jr. spoke at an event on June 16, 2025, at Trump Tower in New York. According to CNN, he said:

“A big part of what we’ve done … has been focused on technology for people who have been underserved, whether that’s been in crypto or anything else, but one of the places where we felt there was lackluster performance was in the mobile industry.”

Eric Trump told Fox Business on the same day,

“You’re not calling up call centers in Bangladesh. You’re doing it right out of St. Louis, Missouri. With Trump Mobile, we’re going to be introducing an entire package of products.”

According to HuffPost, Eric Trump’s company will soon open a call center in America. According to another report in the Associated Press, Eric Trump said in a statement:

“Hard-working Americans deserve a wireless service that’s affordable, reflects their values, and delivers reliable quality they can count on.”

The outlet reported that the Trump Organization announced during the launch event that the new mobile phones, called the T1 Phone, will be available from August 2025. However, they won’t be made or designed by the company but by a third party.

A model of the planned phone, available on the company’s official website, shows Trump’s slogan “Make America Great Again” on the front and an American flag on the back.

According to multiple reports, the announcement for Trump Mobile coincided with the 10th anniversary of the launch of Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. The announcement was made by Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump as a special gesture for their father.
