American pastor and author Voddie Baucham died on September 25 at the age of 56. The news was announced by Founders Seminary with the statement:

"We are saddened to inform friends that our dear brother, Voddie Baucham, Jr., has left the land of the dying and entered the land of the living. Earlier today, after suffering an emergency medical incident, he entered into his rest and the immediate presence of the Savior whom he loved, trusted, and served since he was converted as a college student."

Before his death, Voddie often posted about Charlie Kirk, who was shot dead on September 10 at the University of Utah. His most recent post for Kirk, posted on September 12 for X, is resurfacing on the internet. In the video, after reading a passage from the Book of Titus, Voddie said:

"Knowledge of the truth that accords with godliness, and throughout the letter he is pointing to in making this a distinction between those who know truth and are therefore godly. And those who do not know the truth and are therefore ungodly."

The caption of the post read:

"You might Kill the messenger but you can never kill the message. Rest in peace Charlie Kirk 🕊️"

The post is resurfacing on the internet with many calling it both a tribute to Kirk and a reflection of Baucham’s enduring faith.

After the news of Charlie Kirk's death was announced on the internet, Voddie Baucham uploaded a post on X expressing his honor for the late conservative activist. In the statement he wrote:

"Charlie Kirk was a Christian who had accepted Jesus as his Savior. We know the Lord will be greeting him, saying, "Well done good and faithful servant." Accept Jesus today just like Charlie did. 🙏"

On September 12, he also retweeted a post of Charlie Kirk shared by J.C. Ryle on X. The caption of the post read:

"May the Good lord accept you both in Heaven, Amen"

Additionally, he also shared a quote by Soren Kierkegaard on X, mentioning Charlie Kirk, that read:
