The South Korean singer and a member of the boy band BTS, Jin, also known as Kim Seok-jin, recently shared an Instagram update on June 16, 2025, posing for his liquor brand, IGIN.

The traditional Korean liquor brand, Igin, has been one of BTS's star business ventures, which he began back in December 2024 with celebrity chef Baek Jong‑Won. In 2024, Jine teamed up with chef Baek to establish Yesan Doga and Jin’s Lamp, the companies behind IGIN, as per Allkpop.

Later in mid-December 2024, the distilled IGIN spirit and its RTD (ready-to-drink) versions, including the sweet tonic and sour tonic, were released.

On Monday, BTS's star posted clips and images posing for his liquor brand, IGIN. In the posts, he can be seen pouring IGIN in a glass and posing with the apple tonic can.

The brand launched in 2024 through Yesan Doga, and the liquors are inspired by the local flavors and ingredients from Yesan, chef Baek Jong-Won’s hometown. The celebrity chef Baek Jong-won is a South Korean businessman and the host of cooking TV series, including Baek Jong-won's Alley Restaurant, Baek Jong-won's Food Truck, and a judge in the Netflix series Culinary Class Wars.

The chef also appeared on Jin's web show, The Drunken Truth, where he taught him the process of brewing alcohol. Park Rok-dam, an alcohol expert who also appeared on the same show, is also helping in creating the drinks. The brand has Apple gin and tonics among the products sold on its website.

The singer and songwriter is best known for his singles, including "Epiphany," "Awake," and "Moon." Recently, in May 2025, he released his second solo EP, Echo, featuring the lead single titled "Don’t Say You Love Me," which entered the Billboard Hot 100 at number 90.

He also had a cameo appearance in the tVn drama OST with "Close to You." The song won the Best OST award at the 2025 Asia Star Entertainer Awards held in Japan. Early in 2025, he had also appeared in Netflix's variety show Kian's Bizarre B&B, along with the actor Kian84 and the actress Ji Ye-eun.

Along with launching his own traditional liquor line, the BTS star also became a global ambassador for major brands including Laneige, Alo Yoga, and Jin Ramen.

He will be heading out on his first solo world tour, #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR. The tour is scheduled to begin on June 28, 2025, in Goyang, South Korea, and conclude on August 10, 2025. The solo tour spans across Asia, North America, and Europe.
