The Kylie Cosmetics founder uploaded a reel on September 15 featuring Rhode's founder, Hailey Bieber, where the two were seen applying Rhode's peptide lip shape and Kylie Cosmetics' lip liners while sitting in a car. The caption of the post read:

"A bestie lip combo @haileybieber"

Later, Kylie Jenner shared the reel on her Instagram story, calling Hailey her 'cutie bestie.' Additionally, she shared a throwback photo of herself and Hailey on her Instagram story, from 2016, showing their friendship. Hailey further shared Kylie's story on her Instagram with the caption:

"This makes me emo. 🥺"

While the exact time Kylie and Hailey became friends is unknown, Kendall Jenner, in her cover story for Elle published in 2018, shared how she became friends with Hailey. Speaking of it, she revealed:

"She (Hailey) was actually best friends with Kylie, and I was good friends with her cousin Ireland. Hailey lived in New York, and whenever we were there, we would hang out with her."

Kendall also shared that during her first New York Fashion Week, she became close friends with Hailey. She continued:
