Nicki Minaj debuted a short episode of her show, Queen Radio, on X Spaces (X’s live audio feature) on the social media platform on October 22, 2025, at 11 pm.

She announced that the show is gearing up for a major evolution: a new home with visuals integrated into the format. The Anaconda singer said that this time the show would include live elements as well.

In her interaction with her fans, also known as Barbz, Nicki Minaj stated the upgrade in the show as “game-changing.” She promised “visuals so you can see the Barbz reactions live, the energy, everything.”

The 42-year-old singer made her broadcast for Queen Radio in August 2018 on Apple Music’s Beats 1 to promote her fourth studio album, Queen. The show features a format where she speaks directly to her fans, answers live questions, and offers prizes, including Queen Merchandise.

Nicki Minaj’s Queen Radio is a record-breaking Apple Music-exclusive radio show that first launched on August 9, 2018, on Beats 1. In the first episode of her show, Nicki Minaj promised a live Q&A portion, as well as giveaways of signed merchandise.

With the launch of her radio show, Minaj has joined Beats 1 Radio’s long roster of anchors, which includes Frank Ocean, Vince Staples, St. Vincent, Travis Scott, Drake, The Weeknd, DJ Khaled, and Billie Eilish.

Minaj announced the news on her social media, where she wrote:

“#QueenRadio begins tomorrow @applemusic! The new dynasty begins on @beats1official tomorrow at 7pm PT/10pm ET. AND I might have something special for you too!”

She wrote:

“I’ll be conducting a live Q&A portion of my very first show. Prizes for the best comments & questions include signed albums, signed merch, tour tkts, AND plane tickets to discuss #QUEEN w|ME & other members of the magical KINGDOM.”

Nicki Minaj introduced herself as “Billionaire Barbie,” and wrote in a since-deleted post that she will be releasing her new album on March 27, 2026. A report in Rolling Stone stated that the album will be a follow-up to 2023’s Pink Friday 2.

A report in Complex stated that the rapper shared an image of horror character, Chucky, and wrote:

“I could put out an album tomorrow and still revolutionize the industry yet again on 3.27.26. And then turn around and still release another blockbuster 4th quarter of 26.”

The Trinidadian rapper recently gained attention after reportedly deactivating her Instagram account, which had over 230 million followers. It evoked widespread reactions from her fans who shared screenshots of the “User not found” error on X.

The move comes amid her ongoing drama related to her music career, which also includes the cancellation and uncertainty surrounding her highly anticipated sixth studio album, slated for release in March 2026.
