Hola! magazine reported that the duo were on a casual Sunday outing when the Driver's Licence singer was spotted wearing a diamond ring. The ring fueled their engagement rumours after months of dating. However, Hola! magazine clarified that Olivia has been spotted with the same ring previously in interviews.
According to the news outlet, the ring was gifted to her by a makeup artist during the filming of High School Musical: The Series. In an interview with GQ magazine, Olivia noted,
