Years after splitting from her ex-husband, Aurora is ready to tie the knot again with boyfriend Zac. On October 1, Aurora took to Instagram to share snaps from her engagement with Zac. The post features an image of Zac dropping to his knee with a box of an engagement ring in his hand, and the couple celebrating the engagement with glasses of champagne.

Aurora Culpo's ex-husband, Michael Bortone, is best known for starring on Survivor: Micronesia. The couple tied the knot in late 2019 and share two children together: Remi and Solei. Culpo filed for divorce in November 2022, and in an episode of her podcast with her sister, Olivia Culpo, titled The Culpo Sisters, Aurora accused Michael of cheating.

Aurora revealed that an anonymous person had reached out to her over Instagram to inform her that her husband had been cheating on her. She then approached Michael, who admitted to having an affair and cheating on the influencer several times. Aurora reflected on the rule she set with him during their relationship and said,

"I made a rule with him, way back then, because I was so confident that nothing could ever come between what we had. Nothing would ever be as special as what we had. He was allowed to have one a year, like hook up with a random person."

While speaking to E! News about the split in November 2022, Aurora Culpo said,

"There was a lot happening right when we started filming. My relationship took a really sharp turn and all that was all documented on my end. It was hard, but that's what we signed up for. We committed to being vulnerable and sharing, so I did the best I could."

Michael responded to Aurora's divorce filing with a filing of his own and cited irreconcilable differences and also sought spousal support. However, despite the split, the two decided to co-parent their two kids and often post about their blended family on Instagram. After splitting with Michael, Aurora dated Bethenny Frankel's ex-fiancé Paul Bernon in mid-2024. However, the two called it off after two months of dating.
