Natascha is known for advocating for marginalized groups. She also shares a similar fervor as her husband when it comes to fitness and wellness. While Natascha is not very active on social media now, but she would often post pictures of her lovely family.

Natascha Münter came from a family of health professionals. Her mother was a hypertension nurse at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. While her father was a neurologist. He was also the co-founder of the Department of Neurology at Mayo Clinic.

Bob Weir's passing was announced on his official Instagram account, with a photo that his daughter Chloe snapped. The post began:

"It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Bobby Weir. He transitioned peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, after courageously beating cancer as only Bobby could. Unfortunately, he succumbed to underlying lung issues."

The post concluded with his family asking for privacy during this difficult time, and to remember Weir's music:

"His loving family, Natascha, Monet, and Chloe, request privacy during this difficult time and offer their gratitude for the outpouring of love, support, and remembrance. May we honor him not only in sorrow, but in how bravely we continue with open hearts, steady steps, and the music leading us home. Hang it up and see what tomorrow brings."

How did Natascha Münter and Bob Weir meet?

Natascha Münter and Bob Weir met when she was just a teenager. At the time, he was the guitarist for the Grateful Dead. Münter snuck into the show's backstage area after the band's show, and that is how their friendship started.

The couple got married in an intimate ceremony in 1999 in Mill Valley. Weir wore a kilt during their wedding to honor his adoptive parents. He explained the reason he chose to wear a kilt instead of a suit or a tuxedo. Weir said:

"When you're adopted into a Scottish clan, your blood is basically transformed into Scottish blood."

Bob Weir also revealed that he wanted to be married only once, and has kept his words till he passed at the age of 78. He even joked that he wanted to be buried in a kilt when he passes away.

Natascha and Bob spend a lot of quality time together, doing the hobbies they both enjoy, including going on walks to watch the sunset and working out together.

Natascha Münter and her husband, Bob Weir, also supported women's reproductive rights. Five years ago, the couple were at the Texas march, holding a sign that read:
