Brittani Stapleton is the wife of Josh Stapleton, who is popularly referred to as the "Gulf Coast Stapleton". Brittani is facing backlash from the public for defending her husband after he was sentenced on 20 charges of downloading child s*xual images. The 31-year-old influencer has publicly stated that she knew about the charges even before they started dating and are "happy" together.

Brittani and Josh Stapleton have been married to each other since 2023, after being friends for years. Brittani said in her lengthy TikTok video:

"When the charges occurred, we were friends... I have a really good judge of character, and I knew something was up. I knew that was not Josh... We had already been on several trips together beforehand. I'd spent pretty close time with this guy and I was like, hmm, something's wrong here... Josh was absolutely upfront with me about everything in the charges. There were no secrets."

Additionally, Brittani Stapleton also stated that they are transparent with their loved ones and are backed up by friends and family. In her words said:

"We've always been absolutely upfront with everyone. And guess what? A lot of these people have our backs because they have personally witnessed Josh around their children and know that there's no issue."

Brittani Stapleton's husband, Josh Stapleton, was investigated by the authorities for more than four years before he was sentenced to 20 years in prison. He was sentenced on account of 20 charges of s*xual exploitation of children.

A multi-agency investigation was conducted after his arrest by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, the Cartersville Police, as well as the Department of Homeland Security. They found numerous child s*xual images that were downloaded between 2018 and 2020. The investigation began after a tip to the Internet Crimes Against Children program.

Despite all the evidence that was stacking up against her husband, Brittani took to TikTok to stand by her husband's side. She said:

"Josh was absolutely upfront with me about everything in the charges. There were no secrets... We are still happy. He and I have no issues. He has been fully transparent and honest with me… nothing about us was fake."

After finding out about the charges, Stapleton added:

"I have a really good judge of character, and I knew something was up. I knew that was not Josh."

According to reports, some of the photos were also found on Josh's work computer, and Brittani Stapleton dismissed this claim, saying it was "false". She also said :

"Josh could not possibly have that on his work laptop because… you know how secure those computers are."

In one of her latest Instagram posts, Brittani uploaded a photo of herself and her husband with the caption:

"If this is the statement you’re looking for, here it is," while her fans and supporters were cheering her on and telling the influencer to stay strong despite the chaos.
