Mexican influencer Marian Izaguirre is reported to be missing in Mexico after she posted a cryptic clown video on her Instagram.

According to a report in the Mirror, the 23-year-old was last seen at 6 pm on Monday, September 1, 2025, in the city of Uruapan, located west of Mexico City. She was travelling in a red Kia Rio. Following her disappearance, Michoacan State Attorney General's Office issued an 'Alba Alert'.

Marian Izaguirre shared her last post on August 31, 2025 on Instagram. In the clip, she wore clown makeup, dressed in a maroon sweater, black skirt and matching pair of boots as the 1974 song by Jeanette, ¿Porqué te vas? runs in the background. Tears could be seen running down her cheeks in one of the shots. Her caption read:

“Why are you leaving?”

Izaguirre, rose to prominence on social media platforms like TikTok, where she has around 4 million followers. On Instagram she boasts over 320,000 followers. She is known for her fashion and viral trends.

All we know about Marian Izaguirre as she reportedly goes missing

Ever since the reports of the missing Mexican influencer, Marian Izaguirre have gone viral, an interest in her personal life has sparked among the netizens. They are wondering to know more details about her life.

The real name of Marian Izaguirre is Flor Marian Izaguirre Pineda, according to a report in the US Sun. She was born on November 13, 2001, a report in the Mexican outlet, Clarin stated.

With her rise in social media stardom, Izaguirre transitioned into singing as a pop artist. She launched her music career under the name Flor Izaguirre. In July 2023, she released her song, Boom Boom.

Her disappearance comes after the horrific death of another Mexican influencer, 32-year-old Esmeralda Ferrer Garibay. Her body was discovered wrapped in plastic in a parked pick-up truck in Michoacán on August 22, according to the reports. The bodies of her husband and children were also found in the vehicle.

Izaguirre’s final video did not feature any drugs or organised crime unlike Garibay’s posts which featured narcocorridos.

However, the police has found no link between the two cases. Authorities issued a missing person notice for Izaguirre on September 2, 2025. They activated Alba Alert, which is an immediate search protocol for girls, adolescents and missing women, according to a report in Clarin.

They fear that Marian Izaguirre maybe a victim of a crime. The investigation into the disappearance of the Mexican content creator is still going on.
