Cardi B has made new claims against Nicki Minaj's father, Robert Maraj, and her brother, Jelani Maraj. The "I Like It" rapper posted a new tweet on X replying to Minaj on September 30, in which she wrote:

"you talkin about my father???.. my father never been to jail a day in his life! Go get a detective and tell them to run them records.. don’t put them dirty ass allegations from your bloodline on mine."

Talking of Minaj's family, she continued:

"Your daddy was a crackhead and your brother was raping his stepchild. You got medical records on me??? Post them bitch!!! You gon leave me TF alone today"

Nicki Minaj is the daughter of Robert Maraj and Carol Maraj. Robert passed away in February 2021 at the age of 65. The rapper has four siblings named Jelani Maraj, Brandon Lamar, Micaiah Maraj, and Ming Maraj.

While Cardi B didn’t specify which of Nicki’s brothers she was referring to in her tweet, her brother Jelani Maraj has previously made headlines after being sentenced to prison for child rape, which Cardi might have been alluding to.

Nicki Minaj's father, Robert, was a drug addict in the past. Speaking to the Guardian in a 2012 interview, she said:

"Especially when he was drinking. It's weird, because when he was on crack, he was more peaceful, and when he would drink, he became loud and violent. Each drug has its own spirit. You could see it on the person and feel it in the room."

Nicki shared that while she wasn’t worried about herself, she was concerned for her mother at the time. Her father eventually sought treatment in rehab and overcame his addiction. Speaking of the same, she told the outlet:

"I vowed that I'd never allow any man to control me or to be an alcoholic or anything like that around me, because I don't want my children seeing that."

He passed away in 2021 after being hit by a driver. Her brother, Jelani Maraj, was sentenced to 25 years in prison in 2020, as reported by the BBC, for the rape of a child.

The 46-year-old is reportedly married to Jaqueline Maraj. The couple tied the knot in 2015 and has been together for almost ten years. Maraj was arrested in December 2015 after the victim stated she had been attacked multiple times at his home over eight months.

During that time, Nicki also uploaded a post admiring her brother, in which she wrote:

"Jelani, I love u more than you'll ever comprehend. 😢"

The feud between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj continued to escalate on X, with both exchanging heated messages and accusations.
