Many may not remember a time when Hailey Bieber and Shawn Mendes were linked together. It feels like Hailey has always been destined to be Justin Bieber's wife. However, Hailey and Shawn were rumored to be dating in 2017, right after she broke up with Bieber. They were first spotted at Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights in October, and later at the Halloween party she and Kendall Jenner hosted.

While neither of the A-listers confirmed their relationship, they did make a Met Gala debut in 2018. But during an interview with Rolling Stones after their split, Mendes said:

"I don't even wanna put a title on it... I think it was more of a zone of limbo.
