When Sean “Diddy” Combs’ former assistant George Kaplan testified in court on May 21, 2025, the court learned the reason why the hotel staff didn’t clean up the mess after his alleged “freak-offs.”

According to a report by People Magazine, in his testimony, Kaplan explained that it was his responsibility, not the hotel’s, to clean up after these events to protect Diddy’s public image.

The 34-year-old told the jurors he spent two years working for Combs Enterprises and 15 months as his personal assistant. He reported to Diddy's chief of staff at Combs Enterprises, Kristina Khorram.

“It was implied: protect his public image. I was keen on doing that.” Kaplan testified.

During his hearing, Kaplan testified that he was ordered by Combs to set up hotel rooms across the country, specifically the InterContinental in L.A. and the Trump Hotel in New York. He also told the court that while cleaning up the room, he found bottles of baby oil, lubricant, sports drink, empty bottles of alcohol scattered across the room, "on the table, on the floor, on the bed."

Kaplan testified that he was keen on protecting Diddy from potential embarrassment likely to have resulted from the hotel staff cleaning the room, according to a report in ABC News.

What details were revealed when Special Agent Gerard Gannon testified in Diddy’s trial?

Currently, Diddy is facing multiple federal criminal charges, including racketeering conspiracy, two counts of sex trafficking, and two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

According to a report by the New York Post, Special Agent Gerard Cannon from Homeland Security Investigations testified in Diddy’s trial about the March 2024 raid on Combs’ Miami mansion.

His testimony provided a detailed account of evidence that was seized from his property. He showed the photos taken inside his house, which were of gun parts, high heels, s*x toy, lingerie, and BDSM gear. He also had containers which were packed with 25 bottles of baby oil and 30 bottles of Astroglide personal lubricant, the report in the outlet added.

One photo showed parts for AR-15 semi-automatic firearms, and another picture displayed bullets for a .45-calibre gun. Gannon further testified that the agents also found a range of drugs from MDMA to cocaine to ketamine.

Gannon had that Diddy’s bathroom mirror was covered in handwritten messages such as “You a legend,” “You an icon,” “Puff Daddy,” “Upward Motion,” and the question “What Do You WANT?” Some messages also read “Love you love Diddy” and “You legend and stn Puffy.”

He further added that during his raid at Diddy’s mansion, six people were reportedly present inside the home, including a music producer, a property manager, and other members of Diddy’s staff.

According to the current reports, George Kaplan, the third witness who was presented in the court on May 21, 2025, will be back on the stand on May 22, 2025, where he will face cross-examination.
