Even a major award show couldn’t keep Machine Gun Kelly from his most important role of being a dad. The rapper posed on the red carpet at the American Music Awards, held on May 26, but didn’t stay for the show to take care of his little one.
In a press interaction with Entertainment Tonight, the rapper revealed the reason behind not attending the award show,
"She has a little bit of a fever, so I'm gonna just walk the carpet, tell all my fans I appreciate them and I'm gonna head back and you know let my pheromones try to heal her."
When asked how it feels to leave his little one behind to attend the awards, he described the experience as separation anxiety. Kelly and Megan Fox welcomed their two-month-old daughter in March this year, marking a new chapter in their lives.

Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox dated for almost five years, from 2020 to December 2024. The couple made their relationship official on social media in July 2020 and got engaged two years later.

Fans flooded the comments with love and congratulations. However, many thought the baby’s name was Celestial Seed because of MGK’s caption. The rapper soon debunked the confusion through his Instagram Story by saying,
"Wait guys…her name isn’t ‘Celestial Seed’ 🤣 Her mom is gonna tell you the name when we're ready."
On May 21, Megan Fox shared a post from her new Amazon Prime series, Overcompensating, and revealed she was six weeks pregnant while filming the show through the caption,

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are no longer in a romantic relationship. However, they are reportedly focused on working together and supporting each other through co-parenting as they raise their daughter.
Machine Gun Kelly is also a father to Casie Baker, his 15-year-old daughter from a previous relationship with his ex, Emma Cannon.
