Sabrina Carpenter has admitted she's never tried to impress a crush in her life.

The singer recently appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers, where the two went day drinking. In the segment, Seth and Sabrina asked each other questions, and whoever didn't answer had to take a big sip from a bowl of Long Island Iced Tea as the rule.

In one of the questions, Seth asked Sabrina about the most 'unhinged' thing she has done to impress her crush. Replying to the question, Sabrina said:

"I don't think I've tried to impress anyone."

After hearing her answer, Seth asked if her choice was due to lack of interest in others or a matter of self-respect. Sabrina chose the second option by saying:

"That one. Yeah, I feel that's such a boring answer. I try to be myself."

Sabrina Carpenter was last reported to be in a relationship with Barry Keoghan. Sabrina appeared with Keoghan in her music video of Please Please Please, and they also attended the Met Gala together. However, the couple parted ways in 2024 after dating for almost a year.

Before Keoghan, Sabrina was rumored to be dating Shawn Mendes and Joshua Bassett. However, these were just speculations and were never confirmed by either party.

Sabrina Carpenter opens up about her take on dating

In last year's interview with Cosmopolitan, Sabrina Carpenter, when asked about her take on dating, said:

"A lot of it, for me, has been fate. I know that’s super broad, but I don’t actively look for it. The relationships that I actually want to put my energy into have to be so interesting or invigorating because they take me away from the other things I love. So yeah, it’s fun and it’s messy. I think I’m still just at this place where I’m really enjoying the newness of all of it."

Speaking of her type, she added:

"Contrary to popular opinion, I don’t think I have a type. But the internet loves to just put pictures next to each other of men who have the same hair colour. I’m super attracted to a lot of the things I look for in friends, because I want to be with someone who’s going to be one of my best friends."

The singer said she notices a person's humor, vibe, and authenticity, adding that she prefers meeting people in person rather than online to get to know them through conversation.

As of now, Sabrina Carpenter is not reported to be dating anyone.
