Brian Johnson, famous by his online name Liver King, was arrested on June 24 in Austin, as reported by KXAN.

As per the reports, the social media influencer with over 2.9 million followers was arrested on the charges of terroristic threat, a Class B misdemeanor, which is charged when someone threatens to hurt people or cause panic. It can reportedly lead to a fine of up to $2,000 and up to half a year in county jail.

Officials have not confirmed or revealed who Liver King made the threat against, but based on his recent Instagram post, many believe it may have been directed at Joe Rogan.

On June 23, King uploaded an Instagram post, saying:

"Joe Rogan, I’m calling you out, my name’s Liver King. Man to man, I’m picking a fight with you. I have no training in Jiu-jitsu; you’re a black belt, you should dismantle me. But I’m picking a fight with you. Your rules, I’ll come to you, whenever you’re ready."

Fans believe this message was the threat made against Rogan that led to King's arrest.

After picking a fight and calling out Joe Rogan on the Instagram post, King also uploaded multiple Instagram stories giving fans and Joe Rogan updates on his whereabouts. He also mentioned in his Instagram stories that he was heading to Austin to confront Rogan and pick a fight.

In one of the stories, he said:

"Hey, Joe Rogan, we're taking a quick pit stop to grab a couple of treats. That's how we do it here. Welcome to Texas."

He continued:

"I'm in kind of a fight mode, and I'm thinking I might have doubleshot energy drink, maybe. That's what I'm thinking. What would you drink?"

However, King then uploaded a video of himself being arrested by the police in Austin with no further context.

The American radio host, Alex Jones, also revealed the news to his followers:

"The Austin Police Department, as we speak, is on their way to a hotel in downtown Austin to arrest the Liver King because he has been making a lot of bizarre, cryptic threats to Joe Rogan."

The Austin Police Department has not shared more details about the arrest, and it's still unclear when King will be released. There is also no information yet on whether he has legal representation or an attorney.
