Kylie Jenner has launched an official Spotify artist page under the name King Kylie. It coincided with the release of her new single Fourth Strike, a collaboration with the Los Angeles-based duo Terror Jr.
This move is Kylie Jenner's return to her teal-haired "King Kylie" aesthetic era that arguably dominated mid-2010s social media. The song was released at midnight on October 14, 2025. It celebrates the 10-year anniversary of Kylie Cosmetics. Fans reacted as she unveiled her Spotify profile, asking:
"Why is she threatening us?"
In 2016, Kylie Jenner used Terror Jr's song Three Strikes in a campaign for her first lip gloss launch. Some fans speculated that Kylie herself was secretly the voice behind the track. Jenner denied the rumors at the time:
"I am not the lead singer of Terror Jr."
The band, however, kept their vocalist's identity hidden. Now, following the Fourth Strike drop, which features Kylie Jenner's real vocals, she wrote on Instagram:
"There was a little rumor 10 years ago that I was the one actually singing on Three Strikes! It was not me (wish it was). So I had the idea to come together for Fourth Strike, and it would actually be ME featured!"
Internet reactions to Kylie Jenner unveiling her new official Spotify page as King Kylie
Pop Crave took to her official X (formerly Twitter) page to post that,
"Kylie Jenner officially launches Spotify page under the name King Kylie."
Netizens did not wait long before jumping into the comment section of the X post as they penned their thoughts on the matter. Below are some of their remarks:
"Launching the Spotify page before any announced solo music debut re-establishes King Kylie as a curated cultural aesthetic, not just an individual. This is not a pivot to music; it’s a brilliant content distribution strategy to own a key nostalgic keyword and control the narrative around her past. The real product is the era itself, repackaged as a streaming hub.", stated an X user.
"Oh, groundbreaking: Jenner's Spotify debut as "King Kylie." Because nothing says "music revolution" like a billionaire's vanity playlist of silence.", penned another.
"King Kylie? More like Queen of Random Career Pivots. What's next, a NASA collaboration? 🚀", joked a third.
Others also chimed in:
"From reality TV to beauty empire to music - King Kylie really meant it when she said she's building a dynasty. Curious to see what kind of music drops from this Spotify page", commented a fan.
"Kylie Jenner's making moves on Spotify now? Wonder if we'll get makeup tutorials in audio form.", noted another.
"What did she wanna be doing there? Because the last time I checked her singing talent is nothing to write home about.", commented a third.
Jenner's new Spotify and Apple Music artist profiles officially went live on October 14, 2025, under the King Kylie moniker. The artist banner features Jenner against a black backdrop. Her shoulders are covered with silver glitter, and a crown is featured above her head. Her upcoming King Kylie Collection at Kylie Cosmetics is launching on October 18, 2025.
