Bebe Rexha's Met Gala debut look received mixed reactions from internet users. While some body-shamed the singer for her appearance, others praised her confidence and how she carried herself. Rexha wore a tulle gown with a corset back from Christian Siriano paired with a cropped black blazer.

According to the exclusive inside video of Bebe Rexha and Christian Siriano's Fitting by Entertainment Tonight, Bebe looked calm, happy, and confident. She didn’t seem bothered by the pressure of the fashion industry and looked excited to wear something that made her feel good.

During the interview, the singer revealed:

"For the longest time, I grew up thinking that a pop star or being in the entertainment industry was a certain look, was a certain aesthetic. And I think life has ups and downs. There are so many people on the internet that want to talk, talk, talk, but for me, it's like I'm happy to be at the Met Gala and be like, Yes, you know, I will take my size 10 a*s to the Met Gala."
