"You’re an innocent child & don’t deserve any of this": Nicki Minaj apologizes to Cardi B's daughter Kulture

Nicki Minaj and Cardi B's feud is still going on, as the two female rappers are taking direct jabs at each other's children. However, it seems like Nicki is putting up the white flag, choosing not to involve the kids in an adult verbal spat. After a handful of tweets were exchanged between Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar and Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, the latter addressed an apology to Kulture on X.

She wrote:

"Dear Kulture, truth is: I did all of this for a bigger purpose and one day you'll understand. you're a cute child & lots of kids have cute little funny looking gums before they grow into all of their features. One day you'll see this, so I have to say: I apologize. As a child of God & QUEEN of my community who look to me for integrity. You're an innocent child & don't deserve any of this."

She concluded by writing:

"One day your mother, aunt & many more will be brought to their knees for what they've said AND TRIED to do to my young prophet/beautiful boy. Take care my darling. This isn't who I am."

After the public apology from Nicki, she has not engaged with Cardi on X, although she is still posting. At the moment, Onika is sharing her reactions and thoughts about Taylor Swift's latest album, The Life of a Showgirl.

What prompted Nicki Minaj to issue an apology to Cardi B's daughter, Kulture?

In a series of deleted tweets, Nicki Minaj said a few hurtful things to Cardi B's first child, Kulture. Maraj-Petty even came up with a nickname for the seven-year-old girl, calling her "Kulture Vulture". The nickname sprang up from her calling Cardi B a crow, referring to the rapper's latest album cover for Am I The Drama?

Before Nick's apology, Cardi B also addressed Papa Bear in one of her tweets. She wrote:

"Dear papa perc, I'm sorry that your mommy haven't cut you a birthday cake for the past 3 days cause she can't take my success or happiness… One day you going to grow up and I hope you understand when a girl says NO it means NO and you can overcome the pedophilia blood you inherited from you your grandfather, father and uncle… Please don't hate me when you grow up cause your mommy rather give me more attention than she gives you ..hopefully when somebody that really cares about her puts her in rehab and get her the help she needs she come out and read you a book."

Cardi B was quick to take to X to share her thoughts on Nicki Minaj's apology to Kulture. The Am I The Drama rapper responded by writing:

"Don't give my child no backhanded apology keep my child name out your mouth cause imma always take you where you don't wanna go about mine.. honest truth this goin back and forth about kids is really draining my energy.. I don't wanna keep mentioning kids it feels very nasty and dark but the energy you keep giving my kids imma resend back to messenger."

Nicki Minaj's apology to Cardi B's daughter, Kulture, marks a rare pause in their long-running feud. While Cardi made it clear she did not accept the backhanded apology, Nicki seems to have shifted her focus elsewhere, but whether this truce will last remains uncertain.
