Port Charles' sixth book will be named "Secrets."
Like four of its predecessors, "Secrets," will be accompanied by a musical theme. This time Madonna does the honors with her 1994 hit "Secret," from her "Bedtime Stories" album. Madonna is by far the most prominent artist to have had their music featured in PC's storyarc format.
"Secrets" begins after a strange phenomenon causes Frank and Karen to drive off the road. Later, three mysterious young women, Amy, Paige and Casey arrive in Port Charles.
"Ethereal and beautiful" Paige shares a past with Kevin, and their relationship is sure to cause problems between Kevin and his new wife, Lucy. Amy, described as "feisty and spirited," becomes involved with Ian and Eve. Casey will cause more than a little trouble and Livvie and Jack are there to try to keep her in line.
Ion Overman (Gabriela Garza) will also be featured more prominently in this storyarc. Gaby's younger brother, Ricky, will arrive in town fresh from prison and is sure to give his big sis more than a little grief.
"Secrets" does bring about the end of Brian Gaskill's (Rafe) run with the show. The resident angel strikes a deal to complete his mission, but he has to do so at a cost - Jamal and Alison's relationship will not be as solid as he would have hoped. A Port Charles spokesperson does not, however, rule out the possibility that Gaskill could return in the future.
"Secrets" begins on January 2nd and will run through March 29th.
