Passions Player Passes Away

Television veteran Owen Bush died on June 12th at the age of 79. Among his many roles, Bush played the recurring role of Orville on Passions.

Born November 10th, 1921 in Savannah, Missouri, Owens received his first Hollywood "break" when his friend William Frawley (Fred Mertz on "I Love Lucy") coaxed him into moving to Hollywood and pursuing radio and television gigs.

Frawley's advice worked.

Owens went on to appear in such television projects as Bonanza, The Andy Griffith Show, Peyton Place and Our House. He also appeared in the films Valley on the Dolls, Vanishing Point The Apple Dumpling Gang and Bonnie & Clyde.
