Reacher, the hit Prime Video series, is on its Season 3 and is being praised by fans all around the world for its high-octane action scenes and Jack Reacher’s ( Alan Ritchson) wit and intelligence.
Since its premiere in February 2022, we have seen Ritchson’s Reacher kill at least one person in every episode. However, some antagonists, working in the shadows, don’t appear in front of Jack so easily and survive through the end of a season until they cross paths with Reacher.
There aren’t many who survived Reacher’s prowess, but some do manage to survive long enough from the others who are killed in the same episode they are introduced.
In this article, we have listed 10 such characters from Reacher who managed to survive long enough against him.

10) Russell Johnson
Russell Johnson was an engineer at New Age Technology and worked for Shane Langston in selling weapons to terrorists. In the finale of Season 2, after Langston is killed, Russell pleads with Reacher that he did not know about the weapons being sold to the terrorists.
Reacher initially lets him go but then signals Neagley to blow the helicopter, killing Russell and the pilot.
9) Officer Baker
In Season 1, Reacher doubts Officer Baker from the get-go. He even shares his suspicions with Finlay and Roscoe. Baker was a corrupt officer and worked for the Kliners.
In the finale episode of Season 1, his character is the first one to die as Jack crushes him to death by trapping him between his car and jail bars.
8) Agent Picard
FBI Agent Picard was one of the first antagonists who didn’t die at once, even after being shot by Reacher. In the finale of Season 1, the first time Reacher shoots at Picard, he survives.
Later, he comes to fight with Reacher when Finaly and Jack are rescuing hostages and is shot at again by Reacher and Finaly both. He is finally killed by Finlay when he activates the hydraulic press that crushes him.
7) Grover Teale
Grover Teale was the mayor of Margarve in season 1. He is also part of the money counterfeiting business of the Kliners and is corrupt to the core. While investigating the Kliners, Jack also discovers that several of the high authorities of law enforcement are also part of the criminal activities in Margarve.
In the finale of Season 1, Reacher burns Kliners’ factory while Roscoe handcuffs Teale. But as he tries to reach for Roscoe’s gun, she kills him instantly.
6) KJ Kliner
KJ Kliner is the last Kliner killed by Reacher. He was the main villain in Season 1 and also responsible for Jack’s brother Joe Reacher’s death. He killed his father to take over his money counterfeiting business. The whole season, Jack, Roscoe, and Finlay were trying to solve the counterfeiting business that the Kliner family owned.
In the finale episode, Jack finally kills him, avenging his brother’s death by kicking KJ in a burning fuel barrel, which burns him alive.
5) Shane Langston
Shane Langston, a former NYPD officer and then the security head of New Age Technology, is a corrupt and one of the formidable enemies of Jack Raecher in Season 2. He tries to steal and sells weapons to terrorists with the help of corrupt NYPD officers.
To hide his shady activities, he tries to kill anybody who knows or is investigating him. He ends up killing three members of Reacher’s team and goes on a hunt for the others.
He tries several times to kill Reacher, but ultimately, in the season finale, he is thrown out of his helicopter by Jack.
4) Paul Van Hoven
Paul Van Hoven is a former US soldier and now works as a bodyguard for Zachary Beck. He is taller and stronger than Jack and might easily outwit him, as seen in the latest episode of Reacher Season 3.
But it has also made fans anticipate the ultimate showdown between Paulie and Jack in the current season. It won’t be easy for Jack to kill Paul, but as we are aware of Jack’s intelligence, he will somehow outsmart him.
3) AM
One of the most mysterious antagonists of Reacher is AM, Azhari Mahmoud, the weapons broker in Season 2. He was one of the trickiest villains to be caught by Reacher and his team due to his multiple aliases. However, they finally catch him in the finale after killing Langston.
After being interrogated, he is finally killed by Jack and his team by being shot at multiple times.
2) Zachary Beck
Zachary Beck owns a rug company called Bizarre Bazar, which he uses to cover his criminal activities. In season 3, Jack has joined Beck as an undercover agent to investigate his business and one of his former rivals who might have survived death.
While investigating, he has found clues that Beck might be connected to one of his former enemies, and to know more, he has to remain undercover and find out more about it.
1) Xavier Quinn
Xavier Quinn is described as one of the most dangerous villains that Reacher has ever encountered. Investigated for espionage, Quinn was thought to be dead after being shot at and falling off a cliff.
However, he is back, after 12 years, in Season 3 of Reacher, and fans can’t wait to see a face-off between the former rivals.
