In simple words, the story unfolds between 1883 and Yellowstone and shows how the family has been facing threats and challenges over their land since the beginning.

Created by Taylor Sheridan, viewers can see that prohibition is in full swing in the country as it suffers from severe drought. The first chapter was released in 2022 and the characters returned for Season 2 in February 2025.
