As we inch closer to the Fallout Season 2 premiere, Prime Video has taken the marketing for this season up a notch. After the unexpected record-breaking first season, the second season is highly anticipated. Especially after the final episode of the first season, which wrapped up a lot of exciting storylines while opening up Pandora's box for some more.

By the end of the first season, even though Lucy had discovered the heartbreaking reality about her father, he managed to escape her and The Ghoul's capture. The video game adaptation is set to follow Lucy and the Ghoul as they hunt her father, but the final episode and the trailers released so far have left some burning questions behind that the second season has to answer.

5 Questions that the Prime Video adaptation, Fallout Season 2, has to address

After the eight episodes of Fallout Season 1 were released, several storylines that were threaded throughout the season were wrapped up. However, the final episode and the teasers and trailers released for the second season have created even more mysteries that Fallout Season 2 needs to address.

Norm's fate in Vault 31

The end of Fallout Season 1 found Lucy's brother, Norm McLean, played by Moises Arias, stuck in Vault 31 with Bud Askins (the brain-in-a-jar) and some Vault-Tec Junior Executives. He spent the entirety of the first season investigating Vaults 31,32, and 33, but by the end of the season, he was contemplating freezing himself in his father's old stasis pod.

But it is unlikely that he will give up so soon after spending the entire season investigating and trying to expose Vault Tech. Trailers for the second season did not show Norm looking too good, but he hadn't frozen himself. at least not yet. Fallout Season 2 has to answer what happens to Norm.

How Moldaver survived the 200 years

One of the biggest questions that Fallout Season 2 has to answer is about a character who died by the end of the first season. The mysteries surrounding Sarita Choudhury's Moldaver are endless. The biggest of them being, how did she manage to survive the 200 years?

Moldaver was a part of the flashback scenes as well as the present-day scenes, so maybe it's her the Ghoul should've been asking about his family. Nevertheless, considering Moldaver died at the end of the first season, there is a possibility that more details about her will be revealed through flashback scenes.

Will Maximus continue to be a part of the Brotherhood?

By the end of the first season, Maximus was wrongly credited for killing Moldaver and acquiring the cold fusion device, so he was elevated to the rank of a Knight from the bottom of the food chain. However, he himself faces a moral conflict as his moral compass does not align with the Brotherhood's goals or their methods, leaving him in a precarious place.

So, Fallout Season 2 will have to answer whether he stays with the Brotherhood or follows Lucy and the Ghoul to New Vegas.

What does New Vegas look like?

The Fallout Season 1 ending, as well as the teasers and trailers for Fallout Season 2, have made it clear that the majority of this season will be spent in New Vegas. However, the second season is set in 2296, several years after the game, so there are a lot of questions that need to be answered in that aspect. From Mr. House's presence to the repercussions of the Courier's actions, the mystery is endless.

What happened to the Ghoul's family?

The teasers and trailers for Fallout Season 2 have made it clear that the show will delve into the Ghoul's history. While Luc is chasing her father to bring him to justice, the Ghoul has more private reasons. He wants to find out what happened to his family. The teaser also showed flashes of The Ghoul 220 years ago, as the pre-war Cooper Howard.

So, Fallout Season 2 will have to delve deep into the mysteries of the Ghoul's past.
