If the year 2025 was a remastered experience for television, then 2026 brings back double the amount of that fun. Big franchises are returning, seasons that were postponed will finally reach us, while some new shows are also going to make their presence felt. This isn't just going to be a binge-watching experience, because some of the series are taking their narratives ahead in exciting new directions in 2026.

Starting from jump-out-of-your-seat ER drama and glittering period pieces to MCU meta adventures, and adrenaline-charged spy sagas, here are five series that showcase vastly different milieus. Nevertheless, they share one thing in common: they have a huge fan-following that's surely talking about them. Let's take a look at these five series to watch for in 2026, ranging from The Pitt Season 2 to The Night Agent Season 3 below.

The Pitt Season 2

In case you just watched The Pitt in 2025 and you are still shaken by that dramatic season finale, you are not alone. The gritty medical drama, the one that is more of ER with real-time urgency, is back. The Pitt Season 2 will debut on January 8, 2026 on HBO Max and a day afterward on JioHotstar in India.

This time around, the action takes place in a disorganized fourth of July weekend shift, approximately ten months or so after the events of Season 1. Watch out for fireworks-style crises, technical breakdowns, malpractice anxiety, and newcomers to the ER, all overlaid with the fast-paced, emotionally charged format of the show.

Wonder Man

Calling all Marvel fans! Wonder Man has already become one of the most discussed upcoming shows of 2026, set to release on January 27, 2026, on Disney+.

The series features Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as a struggling Hollywood actor named Simon Williams, who suddenly acquires actual superpowers. The very reality of superhero threat works with a very real on-set anarchy, it is a clever, meta arrangement.

Given that Ben Kingsley is back as the endlessly unpredictable Trevor Slattery, Wonder Man will be an enjoyable dose of comedy, cosmic power, and MCU weirdness of the days of the past, and that is precisely what makes it thrilling.

Euphoria Season 3

The cultural phenomenon of the teen drama returns with Season 3 in April 2026, and is now growing up. Although we know the month, the exact date of release is yet to be announced.

HBO’s Euphoria is coming back after a long break, but watersheds a huge time period, shifting Rue, Jules, Cassie, Nate, Maddie and Lexi to early adulthood. The mess is not going away, however. Get ready to witness the same raw feelings, clumsy relationship dynamics and dreamy looks but this time around in a new, more unsure stage of adult life after high school.

Bridgerton Season 4

Regency fashion, purloined glances in glittering ballrooms and that instantly recognisable orchestral pop soundtrack are in the equation. Bridgerton is coming back with Season 4 in early 2026, with the spotlight on Benedict Bridgerton and his Cinderella-esque romance with Sophie Baek.

The season will be divided in two installments, the first part premiering on January 29 and the second part on February 26. Expect an opulent era full of corsets, petticoats, gossips, and scandals, along with familiar faces and some interesting new characters, as the Bridgerton world keeps getting bigger.

The Night Agent Season 3

The Night Agent is a conspiracy, action, and twisty spy thriller series that fans of such genres should now look forward to returning with Season 3 which is set to release around February 19, 2026 on Netflix.

FBI agent Peter Sutherland returns, again pursuing government secrets, international intrigues and powerful people with dangerous ambitions. And whether you were a fan of the accelerated speed and dramatic tension of the previous seasons, the new chapter has even greater twists, worldly intrigue, and moments that leave you on the edge of your seat.
